About Video Game Center
Hi, I’m Brent, the owner of Video Game Center.
For me, video games have always been about more than just the games themselves. Some of my favorite childhood memories are sitting with my little brother playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, completely lost in that world. We’d spend hours exploring, trying to figure out what to do next, and then get that incredible feeling when something finally clicked and a whole new part of the game opened up.
How it started
Funny enough, this business started because I wanted to play Pokémon. More than 10 years ago, I was between jobs and money was tight. I found a bundle, realized I could keep the Game Boy and game I wanted, sell the extras, and make my money back. Later I did something similar with a Nintendo 3DS. Eventually it clicked: I genuinely enjoyed hunting for games, finding good deals, and connecting those games with people who wanted them.
What started with Nintendo handhelds and Pokémon games grew into buying and selling games of all kinds. More than a decade later, I’m still doing essentially what I loved at the beginning: hunting for games and helping other people enjoy them.
Still small and personal
Video Game Center isn’t a big company with a warehouse full of employees. It’s me. I’m a dad of four from Mayflower, Arkansas, and I’ve intentionally kept the business small and personal.
What I want you to expect
When you buy a game from Video Game Center, I want you to feel comfortable knowing there is a real person standing behind what you purchased. My goal is simple: you should get what you paid for and be able to enjoy the game you bought.
Thanks for supporting Video Game Center.
